Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GULD website, smart contracts, and related interfaces (together, the “Service”). By connecting a wallet or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What GULD is
GULD is a transparent, on-chain game deployed as public smart contracts on Robinhood Chain. It is offered for entertainment only. It is notan investment, security, financial product, deposit, or savings scheme, and nothing on the Service is a promise or expectation of profit. The game’s mechanics - including its ponzi-style, last-buyer-wins structure - are disclosed openly and are visible on-chain. Most participants will lose what they put in.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and have full legal capacity to enter these Terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is legal where you live. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident or citizen of, any jurisdiction where participation in such games or the use of crypto assets is prohibited or restricted.
3. Non-custodial & on-chain
The Service is non-custodial. We never take custody of your funds, private keys, or wallet. All actions are executed by public smart contracts that you interact with directly from your own wallet. Blockchain transactions are final and irreversible. There are no refunds, reversals, or chargebacks. You are responsible for gas fees, wallet security, and every transaction you sign.
4. Risk
Interacting with crypto assets and smart contracts carries significant risk, including the risk of total loss. Prices are volatile, code may contain bugs, and outcomes are determined by on-chain rules and timing over which we have no control. You should only participate with funds you can afford to lose entirely. See our Risk Disclaimer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law, or facilitate illegal activity, fraud, or money laundering;
- evade sanctions or use funds derived from unlawful activity;
- exploit, attack, or attempt to manipulate the contracts or other users;
- misrepresent the Service to others as an investment or a source of guaranteed returns.
6. No advice
Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and for any tax obligations arising from your use.
7. No warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators and contributors of GULD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, or data, arising from your use of the Service.
9. No affiliation
GULD is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Robinhood Markets, Inc.or any of its subsidiaries. “Robinhood Chain” refers only to the underlying network.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
